James (JimOleBoy) Levon Brackin

May 11, 1941 - April 22, 2017
Jim passed away on Saturday, April 22 from complications due to COPD.

No daughter-in-law has ever been as "straightened out" by her father-in-law than me. Not only as far as my salvation.... but even how to make good old southern cornbread. lol. We will miss him but we know we will see him again someday.  --  Cindy Brackin

I know those of you who were still in touch with Jim are saddened, as I am too. I know he is better off now. He helped me so very much in getting my understanding of the Bible doctrine straightened out.
Jim was a faithful man to introduce many of us to Bible truths that we now believe.  --  Mike McGlathery

Thank you for your kind words, Mike. Jim taught us all so much. We know we will see him again.  --  Cindy Brackin

I never had the pleasure to meet Brother Jim in person, considering I live in Western Australia, but I used to visit his website and learn the Sound Pauline Doctrine and I can testify that I have been spiritually enriched by the studies of our dear brother.I rejoice thinking he is now with our Great Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and I want to extend to you my heartfelt condolences knowing that you miss him but not for ever.  --  Love in Christ. brother Roberto Gagliardi

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing but rejoicing with you and the family that Jim was saved and sealed. I loved the Pal Talk teachings and have missed them so much. Oh and I love the ButNow. Jim opened my eyes to so many truths our Apostle Paul had for the Body of Christ. Praying for you and the family and we know the peace that surpasses all understanding, the joy we all share in knowing that one day we will all meet. We have that blessed hope. I thank you for the dedication each day that you and Jim would have to Pal Talk in order that we would all gather to learn. It took dedication and sometimes it was very hard on Jim's health to continue on but he did just that to be sure that we would know the Mystery and the knowledge that Christ wanted us to have so that we would understand and live in grace. Thank you so much for all you did to sacrifice your time and your love for each one of us.  --  Jackie Boldry

Thank you for your kind words, Jackie. That was a special time in our lives. We will miss him, but know we will see him again.  --  Cindy Brackin

I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Brother Jim and for your loss, but know there will be a reunion for those of us, who, like Brother Jim, trusted the Lord believing the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). I am one of many who were blessed by his ministry.
1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.  --  Mary Deanovic

Jim Brackin will be remembered and missed by many here on earth, but anyone who knew him knows what a strong testimony he had for our Lord and Savior. I know he is at peace, and proudly looking down at all of his family. I am so thankful for everything he did that made his son Willie turn out to be such a kind, sweet and caring person. I am so happy to call Willie my son in law, him and Chelsey were made for each other. And because of their love for each other, we have Waylon. Jim will continue to live on through all of his precious children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  --  Cindy Cuddy
